Good & Gold, a digital agency in Portland, OR, hired us to redesign their website. They wanted a look that showed them as leaders in their industry. Our goal was to create a polished site with a focus on typography and colors.
We aimed for a clean look with depth and nuance. We used gradients for movement, mixed different fonts for dimension, and included asymmetrical elements to make the design more interesting.
The result is a sleek, modern website that perfectly fits Good & Gold's needs and helps them stand out as industry leaders.
By combining smart design with the latest web technology, we delivered a site that elevates Good & Gold's online presence.
Website Design
Over the years, G&G's website had undergone multiple iterations, resulting in a clunky and inconsistent user experience. They needed a fresh, streamlined design to better reflect their brand and showcase their work.
We began with a quick R&D phase to align on vision and goals. This phase was crucial to understanding Good & Gold’s needs and setting the stage for a successful redesign. Next, we moved into the design phase, starting with lo-fi wireframes. These wireframes helped us lock in the components, structure, and hierarchy of pages, creating a solid foundation for the hi-fi wireframes.
For the hi-fi wireframes, we built a pixel-perfect representation of the new website. We chose a bold look with large display fonts, mixing serif and sans-serif to add visual interest. Our design included asymmetrical layouts balanced with symmetry to create a dynamic yet cohesive feel. We carefully selected colors, layouts, and photos to ensure the website was impactful without being overpowering. The goal was for Good & Gold's work to be the focal point, allowing their case study photos to shine.
Despite a tight timeline, we created a new look for Good & Gold that positions them as industry leaders with a clean, engaging, and consistent user experience. By focusing on clear structure and striking design elements, we helped them elevate their online presence and better connect with their audience.
